01 / The idea

Nutrition considered as part of a dynamic physiological system.

wINK—Whole Integrated Nutrition Kinetics—is a development-stage functional beverage formulation project. It brings together a cultured-dairy delivery platform with adaptogenic and polyphenol systems, informed by research on nutrient–stress interactions, immune modulation, cortisol regulation, and metabolic resilience.

wINK is presented here as a research-informed formulation concept. This site does not make claims that the product prevents, treats, or cures disease.

Health is not static.

The name reflects an integrated view of physiology: nutrition operates within changing systems of stress, activity, recovery, immunity, and metabolism. wINK is an applied extension of a broader resilience-research framework—not a claim that one ingredient or beverage determines health.

From population science to applied health innovation.

wINK was developed by Kathleen Morales through wINK LLC. Her background spans molecular immunology, infectious-disease epidemiology, global vaccine policy, human physiology, resilience research, scientific communication, and entrepreneurship.

Her current graduate research at the University of Wisconsin–Madison examines resilience, allostatic load, adaptive capacity, biomarkers, metabolic dysregulation, and physical activity using contemporary population datasets.
